Vintage Charm Butterfly Quilt with Purple Accents

Make: Hand Pieced & Hand Quilted & Hand Embroidered

Details: This is what we would call a light to medium weight quilt. There is no batting shift or lumps in the quilt. There are 20 blocks and each of the butterflies is a different cotton fabric, making this a “charm” quilt. The background of the blocks are feed sack. The butterflies are all hand appliqued and embroidered with black embroidery thread. There is a double stripe border on all four sides in solid purple and purple floral print. The same two fabrics are used as the sashing and the sashing squares. The back of the quilt is off-white cotton and the whole quilt is super soft! There are no holes, tears or seam pops. We did find some feed sack toning in the blocks and one faint stain in the purple sashing fabric. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
