Vintage Yellow Sun Bonnet Sue Quilt(S), matching pair.

Details for BOTH quilts: These are both what we would call a lightweight quilts. There is no batting shift or lumps in the quilts. There are 12 blocks per quilt! Both quilts have bright yellow cotton for the sashing fabric between the blocks. The binding is also yellow and is hand applied. The background is white. The backing fabric on both is the same bright yellow cotton. For the blocks, they measure about 13.5 by 14” for each. The majority of the Sue dresses are printed and the hats are coordinating solid colored cotton. Something that is unique about the quilts is the quilting is done in matching yellow thread that really pops against the blocks’ white backgrounds. No found flaws to note on either quilt — a real rareity in vintage quilts. Excellent condition! These quilts have been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
