Vintage Flour/Feed Sack Scrappy Coffins Quilt

Make: Machine Pieced & Machine Quilted

Stitches per inch (SPI): N/A (treadle machine quilted)

Details: This quilt was constructed of gorgeous old fabrics throughout, in a scrappy design! The prints are shirting prints and some indigos, even morning blacks! Note that 2 edges are wavy and 2 are straight. The backing is off white muslin. The binding is a matching off white muslin. is what we would call a lightweight quilt. There is no batting shift or lumps in the quilt. There are no through holes! There are a handful of seam separations, one shattered piece, and two pieces with polka dot loss. There’s also a cluster of blue spots/stains. Please see pictures for reference. Overall this quilt is usable as is, and most of the flaws are minimal, some are even fixable. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
